Knitted socks|Because of COVID-19 Pandemic

Riding a bicycle is seriously cold.

And my hands are cold, but my feet are cold too.

As for my feet, I have been wearing layers of socks for years now, and at one point I even did 5 layers.

I did five layers at one point. I was so happy.

But in my case, the five layers were not so good, and it did not get warm at all.

I was wondering what to do when I entered the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Since I couldn’t do Kyudo (Japanese archery) because of the voluntary restraints, I thought I would try knitting socks with some yarn I had at home.

I hate to say it, but to tell you the truth, we also have a knitting machine.

At first, I thought I was going to knit sweaters with it.

As those of you who have done it before know, it takes a lot of time to set up the machine and the yarn, well, the prep work, and that’s when I gave up.

No, I haven’t given up yet.

I’ll do it eventually, I’m really serious.

So, they are socks, and I knitted them.

It’s fun because it’s done rather quickly.
Well, take a look.

Socks No. 1 knitted by myself

Sometimes I made mistakes in the knitting, but that’s OK because it’s my own. So I finished it.

I was surprised when I tried them on…they are much warmer than 5 layers! It’s so warm!

I wear cotton tabi socks as underwear because they are made of wool.

This was so good that I knitted a second one.

Socks No. 2 knitted by myself

I am currently knitting my third one.

I’m kind of hooked.

My hobby: knitting socks.

It’s becoming. Or rather, it already is.

My ambition is to continue to hone my skills and sell socks at Tamarusan!

For this purpose, I will polish my skills day by day, and, well, I will display them in the fashion accessories section before long, casually, you know.

Stay tuned!
