I introduced this method some years ago, using elastic as scarf pin.
It is a scarf or shawl clasp.
Please watch the video first.
Hook the elastic to the decorative part and fasten the scarf or shawl.
Thick fabrics are better suited for this purpose.
The good thing about this method is that since it is elastic, there is no need to drill holes in the fabric.
Even thick fabrics can be fastened securely.
On the other hand, the elastic is too loose for thin fabrics and will not stay in place.
I remember that when we had a store in Shibuya.
A customer bought a hair elastic because she would use it this way.
Oh, I remember now.
She couldn’t make a hole for it, so they tried using a hair elastic to fasten it and it worked.
One of the good things about a real store is that you can get hints like this.
I learned about tie tack from a customer.
I would be very happy if you could tell me how else you use it.
Also, do you make any other items like this?
We would love to hear from you.
